Job description
The Parakeet is searching for a Reservations Manager to join our talented team.

The Parakeet has become a fixture of the London dining scene - a Kentish Town pub defined by fire-led small plates, a thoughtful wine list, and a devoted local community that treats it like a second home. People come here because it feels considered. Curated. Special. We’re looking for a Reservations Manager who gets that the guest journey doesn’t start at the door. It starts with you. Someone who knows the London dining scene inside out, understands wine with confidence, and can shape experiences that feel personal, not packaged.

What you’ll do
  • Own every reservation - using OpenTable and Collins
  • Deliver warm, human, thoughtful communication that feels like us
  • Curate memorable moments: from intimate midweek tables to private celebrations
  • Use your wine and dining knowledge to guide guests with ease, not ego
  • Work hand-in-hand with GMs and FOH to keep service sharp, smooth and full
  • Build genuine relationships with regulars and the local community
  • Split your time between our Camden office and the venue, staying close to the action
About you
  • Experience as a Head Host, Reservations Supervisor or Reservations Manager
  • Two years with OpenTable or Collins under your belt
  • Dialled-in to London’s restaurant landscape - you know what good looks like
  • Comfortable talking wine styles and elevated hospitality
  • Warm, articulate, organised, steady under pressure
Why join us
  • Up to £45,000 salary inc. performance bonus
  • 50% off across all Columbo Group venues
  • Free entry to concerts, club nights and festivals
  • Excellent perks, referral scheme and pension via NEST
  • A supportive culture built on Genuine Growth + Heartfelt Hospitality
  • Real room to grow, with people who’ll back your ambition
  • A chance to play a key role in one of London’s most acclaimed restaurants

If you love great food, great wine and are ready to shape something meaningful we’d love to hear from you.
