Job description
Programme Manager – Prostate Cancer Research Programme

We are seeking a full‑time Programme Manager to work within the Cambridge Prostate Cancer Research and Clinical Trials Group to assist in their scientific efforts to improve the care and outcome of patients with prostate cancer.

Responsibilities
  • Acquire and provide the data, specimen and database handling administration and management requirements of the programme as it pertains to the prostate research programme for specific projects.
  • Assist in bio‑resource management, data acquisition and entry, specimen handling and preparation and all associated database aspects.
  • Lead and act as the key liaison on prostate cancer research projects that the group is originating or collaborating on.
  • Oversee maintenance and technical running of allied resources, including freezers and warranties, freezer space and location recording, and assist in correct storage and retrieval of samples.
  • Manage and oversee the DIAMOND database and allied IT support for any other clinical and/or database within the programme.
