Job Summary
  • Form part of the WSS UK / I sales team with principal responsibility of Rental sales Southern Region.
  • Explore potential customers' needs and present products & solutions to fit these needs.
  • Leverage high Tier 1 contractor and utilities knowledge and develop relationships.
  • Acquire and retain technical knowledge of new and existing water solutions to ensure customers receive optimal technical solutions.
  • Proactively recruit new customers and recommend new product solutions and services to meet existing customers' needs.
  • Plan and develop market opportunities; identify and realize up‑ and cross‑selling opportunities.
  • Liaise with clients and network contacts, ensuring optimum customer satisfaction.
  • Retrieve market information for rental product solutions and drive strategic development.
Responsibilities
  • Manage existing customers and new prospects, building and maintaining a strong network with clients and stakeholders.
  • Build knowledge of high Tier 1 contractors and develop relationships.
  • Initiate sales processes by scheduling appointments with clients and prospects.
  • Build trust with customers through responsiveness and commitment to their success.
  • Understand decision‑makers and leverage factors that drive their buying decisions.
  • Identify customer needs and advise on solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations and tenders.
  • Link new and existing products, solutions and rentals to specific customer needs, conveying compelling value propositions.
  • Keep customers informed of changes and developments in the field.
  • Manage and respect the existing customer funneling strategy for direct customers and indirect channels such as service partners and distributors.
  • Develop policy: identify market potential, prioritize accounts, track competitors, identify industry trends, and respond appropriately.
  • Meet and ideally exceed sales results by achieving expected personal and regional targets.
  • Remain focused, respond quickly to opportunities, implement countermeasures when execution deviates from plan.
  • Maintain curiosity about technical and sales developments in the field and relevant industry segments.
  • Maintain proper records in CRM: opportunities, contracts, email handling, customer relations management, tenders and quotations.
  • Collaborate with third‑party contractors to explore mutual benefits and maintain trust among parties.
Experience and Qualifications
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar position with comparable products or in the technical sector; industrial sector experience is an advantage.
  • Affinity with technical products; experience in water technology is an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of English (applicable languages in the region) spoken and written.
