Job Description:

Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist
Fully remote - UK only
Permanent. Full or part time (minimum of 3 days per week - 24 hours)
Salary from £47,000* per annum plus excellent Bupa benefits

*based on full-time, if part-time this will be pro-rata

Session Requirements
  • We can offer sessions Monday to Friday during the following times 08:00-20:00
  • At least one of your shifts will need to be a late shift: 11:30-20:00
  • Each day will include 5 appointments

Providing high intensity CBT sessions on a 1-2-1 basis, you will treat clients referred from our insurance business who need support with their mental health and wellbeing. Working remotely, you will be a first point of clinical contact for people with potential mental health issues and concerns and you will provide a high quality, effective and safe mental wellbeing service across agreed sectors of care via MS Teams.

You’ll help us make health happen by:
  • To provide high-quality Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or low-level brief interventions which demonstrates excellent clinical outcomes
  • To deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations that drive evidence-based intervention. To ensure a thorough assessment determines the most appropriate pathway of care and support for the client
  • To provide different models of service delivery including telephone or video consultation, depending on client preference
  • To adhere to Bupa’s case management processes and work collaboratively with the Clinical Leads and wider therapy team
  • To adhere to sessional limits depending on the client’s monetary allowance as determined by their Private Medical Insurance, whilst working towards therapeutic recovery goals
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
  • Full BABCP accreditation
  • Experience in a similar role providing high intensity CBT interventions and managing own caseload
  • IT Skills including proficiency using Microsoft Systems as well as electronic medical record systems
  • Diverse and varied clinical experience to draw upon
  • Ability to present to groups and deliver training workshops also preferred
  • Right to work in the UK
