A leading recruitment agency is looking for a Bridging Underwriter to manage short-term property finance applications. This remote role requires at least 2 years' experience in bridging or refurbishment lending and involves assessing risk, maintaining records, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience underwriting short-term bridging loans and/or refurbishment finance.
• Strong understanding of property valuations, legal conveyancing, and cost assessments.
• Good working knowledge of AML and KYC practices.

Responsibilities

• Review and underwrite bridging and refurbishment finance applications.
• Conduct full risk assessments, including borrower checks and credit history.
• Liaise with solicitors, brokers, and internal teams for efficient application processing.
