A healthcare assessment organisation in the UK is seeking a Functional Assessor. This role involves conducting assessments on claimants' capabilities and producing detailed reports for the Department of Work and Pensions. Candidates must have at least 12 months of post-registration experience as an NMC registered Nurse or HCPC registered health professional. The position offers flexible working hours, training, and various employee benefits including a bonus scheme and professional development opportunities.
We provide a thorough training programme to support your journey to become an approved Functional Assessor. This role is ideal for those open to a formalised retraining programme and ongoing constructive feedback, ensuring claimants receive the best experience. Producing high-quality written reports is a critical part of the role. Confidence using computers and completing detailed assessments for all claimants are essential. This role does not involve diagnosis or hands-on treatment.
If you are unfamiliar with technology or dislike writing comprehensive reports, this position may not be the best match for you.
