Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing, high-performance real estate investment firm. Not only do they specialize in premium vacant land, but they\'ve also developed a unique partnership model that helps landowners achieve maximum value from their property. They’re data-driven, and work as a team. They celebrate wins loudly and measure performance continuously. And now, we’re seeking a driven closer to help them scale! If you need hand-holding, fixed hours, or guarantees regardless of performance, then this isn’t the place for you. But if you thrive on accountability, love closing deals, and want to be rewarded for outstanding results, then read on...

Job Overview

As the Acquisition Manager (AM), you are on the front lines of the company\'s land acquisition engine. Your job is to take qualified, pre-scheduled seller calls, build trust, establish empathy, present offers prepared for you, handle objections, and drive quality deals that align with company profit goals to signed contracts. This is a high-impact, commission-driven sales role. You will conduct Discovery and Offer calls with prospective landowners, manage persistent but respectful follow-up, and hand off signed contracts to their dispositions team. The AM is a full-time position within a company that values “performance culture.” Performance culture means we know what success looks like and we are all accountable to accomplishing meaningful goals to create that success. That means you’ll have training and support, but ultimately your income and your success are in your hands. If you love making deals and are ready to “lock-in” to a dynamic business with big potential payoffs, you’ll fit right in.

Responsibilities
  • Qualified Lead Handling: Receive fully pre-qualified leads from our Lead Managers and conduct Discovery Calls with urgency and professionalism using our established scripts and playbooks.
  • Offer Presentation: Work with our pricing team to understand the offers and partnership options prepared for each seller. Prepare and present offer documents to sellers; explain our unique partnership options clearly and persuasively.
  • Objection Handling & Follow-Up: Build rapport and trust; address questions transparently; and run persistent, respectful follow-up sequences to move sellers from Discovery → Offer → Signed Contract.
  • Transaction Handoff: Once a deal is accepted, facilitate a smooth hand-off to our operations/dispositions team while maintaining communication with the seller.
  • CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain meticulous records of all interactions in our CRM. Track lead status, update deal stages, and follow up consistently.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in regular training, role-playing, and strategy sessions to improve your effectiveness.
  • Stay knowledgeable about land market trends in our target areas, including buyer demand, price per acre, and local regulations.
  • Share seller feedback to improve scripts, offers, or process.
  • Essentially, be an owner of your role, accountable for results and proactive in finding ways to increase success rates.
Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies
  • Sales Experience: 3+ years of successful closing experience (real estate acquisitions, wholesale, or other high-ticket sales). Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Negotiation & People Skills: Strong phone/Zoom presence. Able to build rapport quickly, handle objections gracefully, and influence outcomes.
  • Organization & Tech: Comfortable juggling multiple deals. Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Mindset: Self-motivated, resilient, and performance-driven. Thrives in a “you eat what you kill” environment.
  • English Fluency: English needs to be at Native or Near Native level (C2) with soft to no accent.
  • Real Estate Knowledge: Understanding of contracts/title helpful but not required. Specific land experience is a bonus.
  • Self-Motivation: A go-getter mentality with internal drive to succeed, views challenges as opportunities.
  • Work Ethic: Willingness to work some evenings or weekends (the land business sometimes requires reaching people outside 9-5).
  • Responsive & Timely: Here we understand “time kills all deals,” so we respond to leads/prospects within minutes, not hours, and conduct meticulous and thorough follow up to ensure quality deals close.
  • Education: Real-world performance is what matters most; a background in business, finance, or real estate could be helpful if there is a demonstrable track record of success in closing high-ticket deals.
