Role Details

Where: BBC Newcastle

Hours: 24-hour relief position (08:00–20:00 / 20:00–08:00) with the potential to become full time (4 on, 4 off)

Hourly Rate: £12.60

About the Role
  • Delivering excellent customer service
  • Good level of concentration and coordination
  • Effective report writing and communication skills
  • Physical protection of the premises from external or internal threats and preservation of life
  • Prevention of loss of assets, critical technology, sensitive information or reputational damage
  • Thorough knowledge of the client to minimise impact to business areas; escalate where appropriate; understanding of critical systems
  • Oversee perimeter access through reception for staff, tenants, contractors, and visitors
  • Undertaking patrolling, searching and emergency response procedures
  • Monitor access and egress of personnel and guests and respond to breaches
  • Maintain clear and legible records and logbooks; adhere to health & safety at all times
  • Any other duties deemed necessary
