McCarthy Stone is looking for a Relief House Manager to join our team, covering ad hoc shifts around Hertfordshire and Essex.

Hours: Flexible hours to be agreed with the Operations Manager

Hourly rate: £13.37 per hour

Mileage will be paid.

We seek a customer-centric House Manager to exemplify our high-quality customer standards. The role involves front-of-house management, facilities, event coordination, and customer service.

Some duties include:

  1. Helping Homeowners settle into their new homes.
  2. Providing professional front-of-house service and welcoming visitors warmly.
  3. Offering help, support, and advice to Homeowners as needed.
  4. Promoting good communication between Homeowners, their families, and our partners and suppliers.
  5. Managing the development's gardens and grounds to ensure a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment.
  6. Dealing professionally with emergency situations.
  7. Facilitating social interactions and helping Homeowners enjoy retirement living.
Candidate Key Competencies
  • Excellent communication skills with a positive “can do” attitude.
  • Extensive experience in customer service roles.
  • A professional approach with high standards.
  • Reliability and flexibility to handle out-of-hours calls and emergencies.
