Job summary

A catering service provider in the United Kingdom is seeking Relief Chefs for various temporary assignments in Blackpool and surrounding areas. Candidates must have Enhanced DBS checks for both Child and Adult services and should be capable of working in fast-paced environments with an ability to shift between kitchen sections. Regular work is available, and flexibility in scheduling is essential.

Qualifications

• Chefs must have worked to at least Sous Chef level.
• Candidates should hold Enhanced DBS with Child and Adult checks.
• Additional training in IDDSI is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Work in a variety of properties sometimes at short notice.
• Prepare meals in care homes and hospitals.
• Jump on any section as required.

Job description

Various temp assignments in Blackpool and the surrounding areas for Relief Chefs that hold an Enhanced DBS with both Child and Adult checks.

Flexible chefs who are able to work in a variety of properties sometimes at short notice.

We have a number of care home and hospital contracts in this region which require Relief Chefs who have Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks for Adult and Children workforce in order to work in their kitchens. Additional training in IDDSI is an advantage. There is regular work available with a number of the homes.

Requirements

Chefs who have worked to at least Sous Chef level with excellent all round cooking skills capable of jumping on any section and used to working in fast paced kitchens. Chefs who have Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks for Adult and Children.

It is not essential to have your own transport but it is advantageous.
