A local government council in Sunderland is seeking an experienced cook/chef to manage a school kitchen. Responsibilities include preparing meals for pupils and staff, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This is a permanent role with a guaranteed minimum number of contracted hours (33 hours per week, term time). The post is mobile and permanent with access to the Local Government Pension Scheme and opportunities for personal development and progression within the service. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
