Relationship Manager – Invoice Finance Cheshire / South Manchester

Our client, an established and growing independent provider of Invoice Finance Solutions to businesses, requires a Relationship Manager to join their team.

Role responsibilities:

  • First line responsibility for managing the risk relationship and remuneration of clients within a defined portfolio.
  • Identify and minimise risk and maximise revenue opportunities through responsible and proactive account management in line with company policies and procedures.

Key activities:

  • Ensure clients operate within the terms of their facility.
  • Understand client operations, processes, and current position via system metrics; maintain good communication with administration and credit control.
  • Escalate all risk issues promptly.
  • Conduct internal reviews and visit clients according to company guidelines and timelines.
  • Log complaints, respond, and escalate as necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry knowledge.

Key performance indicators:

  • Client reviews conducted on time.
  • Value of bad debts and provisions made.
  • Growth of the income portfolio.
  • Number of clients giving notice of risk of leaving.
  • Number of cross-sell opportunities or introductions.
  • Feedback from internal teams and clients.

Requirements:

  • Follow all necessary processes.
  • Support new business development to maximize new client acquisition.
  • Comply with AML regulations.
  • Carry out other duties as required.
