Daily Rate : £450 via Umbrella Company

About the Team

The Regulatory Reporting team is at the heart of ensuring capital and liquidity adequacy while maintaining compliance with regulatory frameworks. You'll be part of a dedicated group responsible for producing and submitting regulatory returns to key authorities, including the Bank of England, PRA, and FCA.

Your Purpose in the Role

As the AVP for Regulatory Reporting, you will be instrumental in supporting daily large exposure monitoring processes and generating crucial management information for informed decision-making. Your contributions will directly influence the organisation's regulatory compliance and risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support in the overseeing of daily large exposure monitoring against regulatory and internal limits.
  • Develop and manage the large exposure communications and approval framework in collaboration with Front Office, Risk Management, and Planning teams.
  • Provide daily updates to senior management regarding regulatory prudential ratios and group collateral reporting.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the regulatory large exposure monitoring framework.
  • Conduct investigations and resolve potential limit breaches promptly.
  • Manage intraday large exposure monitoring and the daily group collateral process.
  • Assist in preparing quarterly COREP reports related to credit risk and large exposures.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Proven industry experience in a comparable financial institution.
  • Expert knowledge of regulatory large exposure rules and reporting requirements under UK / European Capital Requirements Regulation.
  • Experience in producing regulatory large exposure reporting (COREP COR002).
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyse large volumes of financial and risk data accurately and efficiently.
  • Experience in delivering precise financial or risk reports under pressure with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel is essential; knowledge of PowerBI and SQL is a plus.
  • Strong numerical and financial acumen.
