Job description

The Department has an extremely distinguished record in the provision of clinical services to patients with Leukaemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma, including Europe’s first Bone Marrow Transplant, pioneering work on familial donors and extensive involvement and leadership in national and international trials. Patients are predominantly referred directly from secondary care hospitals with results of diagnostic tests suggesting some form of haematological malignancy. The Department currently offers all treatment modalities (diagnosis, chemotherapy, radiotherapy) for patients with Acute Leukaemia, Myeloma and other plasma cell disorders, Lymphoproliferative Disease (LPD) and Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS).

This post holder would be involved in the outpatient and inpatient care of patients under RMH who are undergoing treatment with CAR‑T cell therapy for management of relapsed/refectory Haematological Malignancies either with commissioned CAR‑T products or patients receiving Cell Therapy Treatment on Clinical Trials.
