A veterinary service provider in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated nurse to join their team. This full-time role involves general nursing duties, including patient triage, assisting in procedures, and mentoring. Our ideal candidate will have varied experience in all aspects of nursing, friendly, empathetic, hardworking and personable with a keen eye for detail. Working between Northfield and our branch practices, you will carry out all general nursing duties to include, inpatients, theatre practice, basic laboratory tasks, consulting, patient admits and discharges, triaging patients and assisting with incoming calls. You will also assist with pricing of procedures, stock ration, ordering, and supporting student nurses and new grad vets.

Ideally, we’re looking for someone to cover a full‑time role by working 40 hours per week, with shifts varied between 07:00‑19:30 Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings.
We have ultrasound, CT, K‑laser, Endoscopy, laparoscopy and dental X‑ray facilities, enabling us to offer a wide range of services to our clients. At our hospital, we have 3‑5 vets working per day and certificate holders in multiple disciplines (surgery, medicine, cardiology, exotic species, ophthalmology and ECC).
