Here at Summerwood, we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our fantastic team on a part-time fixed-term basis. This role is to cover maternity leave for a period of 12 months. This is a great opportunity for a Nurse who is motivated, enthusiastic, and keen to utilise their nursing skills to the fullest. The Rota

This is a part-time role working 24 hours per week across 3 x 8-hour shifts. The working days will be Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with shifts varying from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm.

Location

Easy access to Newport, Cardiff, and the countryside. Summerwood is a busy, small animal practice in Blackwood, South Wales, with entertainment options, scenic hiking in the surrounding mountains, and good transport links including bus and rail.

Practice Facilities

• 4 consult rooms, including a new one
• Brand new cattery and top-range kennels

Candidate Profile

You must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a proactive attitude. Previous hospital experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
