This role involves supporting veterinary surgeons with overnight care and providing exceptional patient care. Our expanding equine referral hospital in Newbury, West Berkshire, is seeking a passionate, dedicated nurse to join our night team. Donnington grove equine has an extremely diverse caseload covering everything from racehorses to foals and competition horses, and you’ll support it all, from our hospitalised patients, to the emergency admissions and surgery. We’re looking for someone committed to delivering exceptional care in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Donnington Grove Veterinary Group is a large, well-equipped practice in Newbury, Berkshire, welcoming both first opinion and referral cases across surgery, MRI, CT, scintigraphy, and medical investigations. Our facility boasts a robust in-house laboratory, a range of mobile equipment, and support for ambulatory procedures. We’re open 7 days a week, year-round, ensuring both routine and emergency care for our patients.

We’re seeking a nurse with a genuine passion for equine care, ideally with some relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to maintaining high clinical standards and delivering exceptional client care, thrive in a dynamic and collaborative team setting, and demonstrate outstanding communication skills to support both clients and colleagues.
7 nights on 7 nights off averaging 39 hours per week
Shifts: Sunday - Thursday 8pm-6:30am; Friday - Saturday 8pm-8am
