Overview

Registered Veterinary Nurse – Leigh

£27,000 per annum. This is a full‑time role of 40 hours spread over 4 days at a 24‑hour Veterinary Hospital in Leigh, Manchester.

Responsibilities
  • Circulating through multiple departments, including theatre, consultations, pharmacy, emergency, and inpatient care.
  • Providing hands‑on nursing care, including Schedule 3 activities.
  • Supporting the theatre and anaesthesia team, if this aligns with your interests.
  • Collaborating with our experienced team of vets and nurses to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Participating in a 1‑in‑5 weekend rota.

  • Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • A commitment to providing excellent patient and client care.

Day‑to‑Day

Your day‑to‑day activities will vary, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment. You may find yourself assisting in theatre, supporting consultations, managing pharmacy tasks, or providing care to inpatients. With 10‑hour shifts between 7 am and 8 pm, spread over four days a week, you\'ll enjoy a balanced schedule that allows for personal time and professional fulfilment.
