Location: City Vets Hospital (multi‑site based primarily at the main hospital)

Hours: Full‑time 36 hours per week (typically 8 : 0018 : 00 4 days per week occasional 9 : 0019 : 00)

Salary: Competitive dependent on experience (based on Tier 1 banding pro‑rata for 36‑hour week)

Contract: Permanent

You’ll be part of a large experienced nursing team working collaboratively in a friendly social environment that values flexibility, progression and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent clinical nursing care across inpatient surgical and consultation areas
  • Confidently monitor and manage anaesthesia during a variety of procedures
  • Rotate between branches when needed (mainly hospital‑based with occasional branch support)
  • Work closely with vets and fellow nurses to maintain high standards of patient care
  • Support with stock control lab sample processing and maintaining clinical standards
  • Participate in the on‑call rota (approximately one per month including 13 nights and 4 weekends per year)
  • Contribute to a positive collaborative and proactive nursing culture
