Overview

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a committed Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Belfast, Northern Ireland area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers. This care home provides nursing care for those who have complex medical needs, as well as 24-hour nursing dementia care.

Requirements
  • To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin. A Deputy with good experience and readiness to step up could be considered.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure the delivery of outstanding levels of care to all residents in a safe, welcoming, caring and stimulating environment, while increasing profitability and developing brand awareness through occupancy and fee rate growth.
  • Take overall responsibility for all services and levels of service provided to residents through well trained, competent, motivated and engaged employees.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with the RQIA, comply with legal and statutory requirements, and represent the Home as the Registered Manager.
  • Act as an ambassador to represent the heart and face of the home to key decision-makers, building a sound reputation within the local community and ensuring the home is the local “home of choice,” working towards excellence.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager and wider operational support team to drive sales, margin growth and new service development to deliver consistently positive home performance measured against agreed KPIs.

Salary and benefits

The successful Home Manager will receive a salary of £60,000 per annum. This is a permanent full-time role with day shifts. Benefits include:
