Overview

Job responsibilities

• Act as the person in charge when required, standing in for the Manager and following instructions to act on their behalf; ensure high standards of care for residents.
• Undertake nursing tasks, provide input on changes in resident condition, and advise families and GPs accordingly.
• Effectively deploy and supervise the care team to ensure residents receive the required care.
• Provide high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.

Role details

Shift Details: 19:30-07:15, 3 times a week, working every other weekend

About the role

To be successful in this role, you will act as Registered Nurse and ensure high standards of care to residents while supporting the Manager as required. You will be part of a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated team in a caring, supportive environment that values respect, compassion, and a shared commitment to exceptional care.

• Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years experience with up-to-date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post-basic studies/qualification.
• Display good interpersonal skills and the ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
• Have sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
