Job summary

A leading healthcare staffing agency is looking for a Registered Nurse Manager in Denbigh, Wales. You will manage daily operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and lead a team to provide high standards of care. The ideal candidate will have a Level 5 NVQ in Leadership & Management, a current nursing PIN, and strong leadership skills. This is a fixed-term position with a salary of £49,140 per annum and a 40-hour workweek.

Job description
Role Overview

The people we support have enduring mental health needs alongside physical health needs. The Registered Nurse Manager will oversee the daily management of the home, clinical needs, staffing, compliance, care planning, medication management, and adherence to RISCA regulations.

Salary: £49,140 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Fixed-term (6-7 months)
Start Date: February 2026

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing and supervising staff teams
  • Conducting supervisions, appraisals, and team meetings
  • Providing clinical leadership and ensuring high standards of care
  • Being part of the on-call rota
  • Overseeing risk assessments and person-centred care plans
  • Monitoring medication and maintaining record accuracy
  • Ensuring operational policies and procedures are followed
  • Maintaining safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
Candidate Requirements
  • Current Nursing PIN - RMN, RNMH, RNLD preferred (RGN with relevant MH experience also considered)
  • Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Leadership & Management (or equivalent) – Essential
  • Strong organisational, leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while prioritising service needs
  • Good awareness of safeguarding and vulnerable adult procedures
  • Flexibility to cover shifts where required
