Job summary

Job description

Cambridge J2 is a 19 bedded ward, taking care of patients with respiratory infections. This will include Bipap, CPAP, chest drains, Optiflow (High Flow Oxygen), Tracheostomies and Laryngectomy.

The ward team consists of 1 Ward Manager, 5 Band 6 sisters, 23 Band 5 nurses, 17 Health Care Assistants, 1 housekeeper and a Ward Clerk.

This team works well within the Multidisciplinary team, which includes the ward's own consultants, 7 days a week, and a team of junior doctors.
