More detail about the role

The Centre for Womens Health theatres in Exeter consists of three theatres: an Emergency Obstetric Theatre providing overnight cover for emergencies and minor gynaecology cases; plus two Elective Gynaecology Theatres managing routine gynaecology, oncology surgeries, ectopic pregnancies, elective and emergency caesarean sections, and elective breast surgeries. You’ll deliver safe, compassionate care in a fast‑paced environment, working closely with a skilled multidisciplinary team. Enthusiasm and passion for theatre work are essential. Previous theatre experience is preferred but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Working Pattern

37.5 hours per week. Monday‑Sunday 0800‑2000, 0800‑1800. Internal rotation to night shifts.
