An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our dynamic and supportive Critical Care team as a Band 5 Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Withybush Hospital. In this vital role, you will be part of a dedicated team delivering high-quality, compassionate care to some of the most acutely ill patients in the hospital. This is a fantastic chance to develop your clinical skills in a fast-paced, specialist environment, supported by experienced colleagues and a strong multidisciplinary team. The vacancy is part time and covers days, nights and weekend working.
The successful applicant will be fully supported whilst gaining experience in the care of critically ill patients undergoing a variety of critical care interventions. The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate some knowledge of Critical Care Nursing, but this is not essential and have a willingness to develop their skills further, playing an integral part in integrating critical care across Withybush General Hospital. The applicants should be able to demonstrate the use of evidence based practice and be proactive in managing change. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, together with a readiness to innovate and develop nursing within a team approach. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
