Working for our organisation

Responsibilities
  • To provide care to patients, in line with the Trust values and in accordance with professional regulations.
  • Accept delegated responsibility for specific activities/areas from senior Nurse in Charge.
  • Work autonomously and with others to always deliver high standards of care to patients and their carers, autonomously as part of a team.
  • Communicate in line with Trust values, to patients, carers and staff at all times.
  • Take every opportunity to continue to develop, practice and expand their own general and specialist nursing skills.
Qualifications
  • Ability to converse easily and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for all customer facing roles.
  • Most positions require a Disclosure and Barring check and will be exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Posts working regularly or unsupervised with children or vulnerable adults require an enhanced check.
  • Applicants for eligible roles requiring Tier 2 sponsorship must meet UK Visas and Immigration eligibility criteria.
  • The Trust operates a no‑smoking policy on all our sites and grounds.
