About You

As a Registered Nurse at HC-One, you will build on your existing skill set in a nurse-led environment, developing decision-making and collaborative skills. You will make a difference to Residents at times they may feel most vulnerable, guiding and supporting them. You will be a Registered Nurse with at least 12 months’ experience in Health or Social Care, a valid PIN, and a commitment to professional standards set by the NMC. You will have a passion to mentor and share knowledge with colleagues, and provide support as a practice supervisor and assessor to students. You will understand the importance of effective communication and role-model professional behaviors. You will advocate and deliver a person-centred approach to care for Residents and their families. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, so you should recognise signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training as needed. You should be able to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
