Overview

As a Registered Nurse at HC-One, you will practice in a nurse-led environment, developing complex decision-making and collaborative skills, and make a difference to Residents at times when they may feel most vulnerable. You will guide and support them in life-changing decisions, in a humbling and rewarding part of the role. You will be a Registered Nurse with at least 12 months’ experience in Health or Social Care, a valid PIN, and will follow the standards of practice set by the NMC.

Job responsibilities
  • Provide resident-centred nursing care in a nurse-led environment.
  • Support Residents and their families, including when life-changing decisions are needed.
  • Mentor and share knowledge with colleagues, and provide support as a practice supervisor and assessor to students.
  • Maintain effective communication (verbal and written) and model professional behaviours.
  • Safeguard Residents by recognizing potential abuse, harm, or neglect and reporting concerns; attend safeguarding training and undertake related training as required.
