Qualifications

• QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care Children and Young People.
• A full driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Leading a successful staff team and managing all day-to-day operations of the home.
• Ensuring that the staff team receives supervision and ensuring that they are fully supported within their roles.
• Inducting new staff members into the home's policies, procedures and culture.
• Ensuring the highest standards of care and support are provided in relation to the young people's needs.
• Being the young person's champion in achieving their aspirations.
• Ensuring effective care planning and risk assessing is conducted regularly.
• Supporting engagement with education to ensure young people achieve their potential.
• Overseeing key working in line with the individualized key working program.

Registered Children's Manager

Brook Street are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Children's Manager to be appointed for a new home within an established service.

You will be responsible for all aspects of running the four-bedroom home which offers support to young people between the ages of 8 and 18 who have social, emotional and mental health needs. This means you will be working very closely with young people who may display challenging behaviour; therefore you will need to be able to build excellent relationships based on trust.

Within your role as a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of running the home, leading a staff team and ensuring that compliance is met in accordance with regulatory requirements.
