Registered Home Manager
Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 plus bonus based on occupancy

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Manager to lead our residential care service. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a pivotal role, ensuring high-quality care, compliance with regulatory standards, and the continued growth and development of the service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated staff team, ensuring a supportive and positive work environment.
  • Maintain compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding requirements, and health and safety regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and review person-centred care plans tailored to residents\' needs.
  • Oversee safe medication administration processes and regular health assessments.
  • Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure holistic support.
  • Drive continuous improvement through audits, KPIs, and quality assurance systems.
  • Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure resources are allocated effectively.
  • Support recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisals, and ongoing staff development, including NVQ/Diploma progression.
  • Ensure all staff receive training relevant to their role, particularly in dementia care and medication management.
  • Lead business development initiatives and ensure occupancy levels are maintained.

  • Proven experience in a Registered Manager role or equivalent within residential or healthcare services.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and retain staff.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of service users.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage budgets, resources, and business development effectively.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care) or willingness to work towards.
