Registered General Nurse – Substance Misuse Service (Derby)

Location: Derby

Contract: Temporary (initial 3 months, with potential extension)

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Pay Rate: £29 per hour (umbrella)
Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to clients with substance misuse issues.
  • Conduct health assessments, including BBV (Blood-Borne Virus) screening.
  • Administer medication and monitor withdrawal symptoms.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver care plans.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with service standards.
