Registered Building Inspector

Class 3 G or Class 3H open to surveyors with 2F registration

Salary – £70,000 – £85,000 depending on your current experience

The role of the Building Inspector

You will work on Building Control projects with a focus on commercial, hi‑rise or high‑risk buildings. This is across leisure, commercial, education, healthcare, government and retail. The is a real variety of existing loyal clients.

You will work under supervision where required and benefit from full training in any projects you have previously not had access too. So, this role is open to you regardless of whether you have worked in Local Authrity or Private Sector Building Control.

You will manage your own diary so travel into London would be 1 day per week, so provided it is accessible for you, you can be based almost anywhere. The rest of the time you will work remotely.

There is no requirement to win new business or bring clients with you.

You’ll do the full spectrum of building control from plan checking, site inspections through to completion.
