Overview

Registered Anaesthetics Theatre Nurse - London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham

Pulse is looking for registered and experienced Band 5 & 6 Anaesthetics Nurses in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, West London. We aim to support Anaesthetics Nurses by handling scheduling, timesheets, and stability so you can focus on patient care.

Benefit from flexible shifts available from Monday to Sunday and plan ahead with block bookings up to 3 months in advance. The closest station is East Acton (zone 2, Central line); the hospital is approximately a 12-minute walk from the station.

Pay range: £19.00 - £30.77 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • The Anaesthetic nurse's role is to detect adverse effects as soon as possible and intervene promptly and adequately within pre-operative settings
  • Administering Anaesthetics to patients before surgery
  • Monitoring drug levels of patients throughout the operation
  • Assessing the patient to ensure they can be discharged back to a ward
  • Providing support to the patient upon arrival to the post-anaesthetic unit
  • Communicating with the anaesthetist and other members of the team
  • Keeping up to date with records of each patient
Requirements
  • Valid NMC registration
  • At least 6 months recent UK NHS experience within the Anaesthetics sector
  • Ability to provide a clinical reference and cover the last three years of employment
  • Able to provide an enhanced DBS or documents to apply for one
  • Right to work within the UK – proof will be required
