Overview

Salary: £47,145 - £60,375 (DOE) Car Allowance: £500/Month Base Location: Sennybridge Training Camp, Brecon, Powys, Wales LD3 8PN Regional Role: Own Transport Required Landmarc Support Services are seeking a Regional Technical Manager who can bring clarity, confidence, and strong technical leadership to a diverse and complex built estate.

This is a strategic and influential position, where your technical expertise shapes how safety, compliance, and engineering standards are understood, implemented, and assured across the region.

Responsibilities
  • Main Responsibilities: Provide regional leadership for key compliance areas, including Legionella and Asbestos, ensuring robust control measures and clear expectations.
  • Oversee Authorised Person (AP) coverage across technical disciplines, ensuring competence, consistency, and effective governance.
  • Maintain and assure compliance registers (e.g., FGAS), ensuring accuracy and alignment with statutory requirements.
  • Offer expert technical guidance on statutory regulations, industry standards, and best practice.
  • Support project delivery teams by providing technical insight, interpretation of standards, and subject matter expertise.
  • Monitor and assure that competent personnel are in place and that compliance plans are delivered effectively.
  • Ensure site drawings are kept up to date using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software.
Ideal Candidate

You don’t need to be a subject matter expert in every discipline, but you do need a strong technical foundation, sound judgement, and the confidence to guide others.

  • Experience in one or more compliance areas such as fire safety, electrical, DSEAR, fuels, or gas.
  • A strong understanding of building services and statutory regulations (e.g., SFG20, CDM, Fire Safety, Gas Safety). Health & Safety knowledge at IOSH Managing Safely level or above.
  • Confident IT skills, ideally with experience using CAFM and CAD systems.
  • A quality‑driven mindset with experience in assurance or compliance oversight.
  • Strong planning, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
Qualifications

You will hold or work towards (existing qualifications are highly desirable, but training can be provided): Responsible Person (Legionella); Responsible Person (Asbestos).
