Job summary

A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Study Support Service Facilitator to support the delivery of services within the NIHR Regional Research Delivery Network. The role involves engaging with partners, line managing staff, maintaining proficiency in cost tools, and ensuring successful service delivery. Qualifications

• Understanding of research, the NHS, and the wider health and care system.
• Specialist knowledge of RDN Portfolio eligibility and cost attribution.
• Experience of supporting the delivery of health and care research support services.
• Experience of using data systems to understand and support performance.
• Experience of facilitating continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Engage with multiple partners across the region and foster collaboration.
• Maintain proficiency in cost and attribution tools.
• Line manage a Study Support Service Officer and undertake staff reviews.
• Ensure the success of the Study Support Service.

Skills

Ability to communicate clearly with multi-disciplinary staff at all levels

Excellent IT skills, particularly in web applications, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office

Guided by policies and protocols but applies flexibility when necessary

Professional and friendly approach to interpersonal interactions

Education

Masters, Degree or Equivalent Experience
