Job description

What will I be doing?

You will advise and assist the public on how to use the site to maximise recovery of materials deposited in the sites.

This will involve:

  1. Maintaining accurate records for the removal of materials from the site.
  2. Providing excellent levels of customer service.
  3. Controlling the exchange of containers by booking loads with the relevant person, ensuring the site always has space to segregate and store material correctly.
  4. Maintaining a tidy site within your areas of responsibility.
  5. Ensuring that SUEZ complies fully with its legal duties regarding the health, safety, and welfare of its employees and others affected by your actions or omissions.
  6. Co-operating with SUEZ and other employees to comply with the site permit, all applicable legislation, and SUEZ Policies and Procedures.
  7. Performing any other duties reasonably requested within the scope of the job role.

What are the requirements?

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who will join the current site team to ensure site operations exceed standards.

The role requires:

  1. A flexible approach to work, as you may need to cover holiday and sick days if required.
  2. A strong focus on health and safety, with a desire to develop, embrace change, and pursue continuous improvement.
  3. Previous experience in the waste industry or high-volume production processes is advantageous but not necessary.
