A leading hire company is looking for a Regional Service Engineer to service, repair, and maintain industrial cleaning equipment. The ideal candidate will have both mechanical and electrical skills, a customer-facing attitude, and a full UK driving license. Overview

Regional Service Engineer – London

Salary: £40,000 - OTE £50k

Responsibilities
  • Service, repair, and maintain a range of industrial cleaning equipment (mechanical and electrical).
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules.
  • Provide excellent on-site customer service, acting as the face of the business.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
  • Manage van stock and ensure all tools/equipment are in good condition.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Mechanical & Electrical skills with proven fault-finding, diagnostics, and repair (not just mechanical).
  • Field service/mobile engineer background, comfortable working on customer sites.
  • Experience with machinery or equipment, ideally cleaning equipment, plant, materials handling, FLT or similar.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Confident and professional in customer-facing situations.
  • Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
Benefits
  • Starting Salary £38,760 rising to £40,000 after satisfactory probation and training accreditation; OTE £50k.
  • Performance-related annual salary increases.
  • Mon–Fri 40 hours per week (1/2 hour unpaid lunch each day).
  • Overtime available (OTE £50k), not guaranteed.
