Responsibilities
  • Lead the property management function across the Midlands region, ensuring all centres are safe, compliant, and well maintained.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to two fellow Regional Property Managers, ensuring a joined‑up approach across regions.
  • Carry out annual property condition surveys and fire risk assessments, delivering required remedial actions.
  • Oversee the delivery of property projects ranging from £50k–£400k, ensuring high standards of quality, cost control and timely completion.
  • Manage all aspects of the project life cycle, including feasibility budgets, capex planning, contractor engagement and stakeholder communications.
  • Act as a key liaison with centre managers, contractors and internal stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, CDM Regulations 2015, HSE guidance and building regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement across property processes, systems and supply chain partnerships.
  • Attend divisional and regional meetings, presenting updates and collaborating on best practice initiatives.
Key Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in multi‑site property management, ideally in fast‑paced environments such as retail, education or childcare.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative leader who can inspire and develop colleagues while driving consistency across regions.
  • Ideally qualified in project management, building surveying or property‑related fields (not essential).
  • Excellent knowledge of construction drawings, planning requirements and compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, CDM, asbestos awareness and HSE guidelines.
