Regional Health and Safety Advisor – Southampton

Overview

The role supports the Head of Health and Safety across 11 marina sites in the South of England, offering ample opportunity to drive real improvements in health and safety performance in a high‑risk environment.

Responsibilities
  • Champion a positive health and safety culture across multiple sites.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of health and safety records, reports and documentation in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities such as HSE, Fire Service and the Police.
  • Collaborate with the health and safety team to develop and implement initiatives that enhance workplace safety and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a similar health and safety role; experience within heavy industries beneficial but not essential.
  • NEBOSH General certificate or equivalent, with ambition to pursue continuous professional development.
  • A proactive, enthusiastic approach to health and safety, driven by strong personal initiative and passion for improving safety culture.
