About Associated Optical

Since 1983, Associated Optical, Eschenbach’s exclusive UK partner, has been committed to supporting eye care professionals with high‑quality ophthalmic frames, advanced magnification solutions, and innovative vision‑enhancing products.

Working alongside world‑class manufacturers, we proudly represent Eschenbach Optik, Ocutech, Live Eyewear (Cocoons), and Kukuna. Our product portfolio includes eyewear, magnification, and reading aids, serving customers across the NHS, charitable organisations, and optical retailers.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, self‑driven Sales Executive to join our expanding team, responsible for the Central England region, covering the Welsh borders across to Norfolk.

This remote, field‑based role is ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, relationship‑building, and consultative selling. You will promote and support our leading brands, working closely with NHS professionals, optical retailers, and charities to deliver vision‑enhancing solutions that make a genuine impact.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage your diary to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Visit key accounts and proactively prospect new customers across the NHS, charity, and optical retail sectors.
  • Make structured daily cold calls to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations and training sessions to individuals and small groups.
  • Follow up on leads, quotations, and orders using HubSpot CRM.
  • Work closely with our internal support to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Attend exhibitions, training events, and company meetings as required.
About You

You are a confident, ambitious salesperson who thrives on a challenge and enjoys developing new business opportunities.

While experience within the optical sector is advantageous, we value drive, determination, and a proactive mindset above all. If you are commercially minded, organised, and motivated to make a meaningful contribution, this role offers the structure and freedom you need to succeed.

Essential Skills & Attributes
  • Proven success in a sales role (ideally field‑based), with the discipline to work independently.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, including effective diary and territory management.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and accountable for individual performance.
  • Willingness to make daily proactive outbound calls.
  • Competent in CRM use (HubSpot experience advantageous).
  • Full UK driving licence.
Why Join Us?

At Associated Optical, you will represent trusted, globally recognised brands in a supportive and professional environment that values innovation, education, and integrity. You will have the autonomy to manage your territory, the backing of respected brands, and the opportunity to genuinely enhance lives through improved vision.
