The role

As a Desktop Support Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of our IT operations, ensuring our teams have the tools they need to deliver critical missions. This is a role where your expertise directly supports national security and defence and where your career can grow in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment.


Day-to-day, you’ll provide second-line technical support across multiple sites, maintaining and improving desktop environments that keep our people connected and effective.



  • Deliver second-line technical support to agreed Service Levels

  • Maintain and configure desktop environments across multiple sites

  • Resolve hardware and software issues for PCs, laptops, printers, and mobile devices

  • Support videoconferencing and LAN connectivity

  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless IT operations


This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and is based on site at RAF Brize Norton with travel to other sites.


Essential experience of the Regional Desktop Support Analyst


  • Experience working in a Service Delivery environment (ITIL processes)

  • Proven ability to meet Service Level Agreements

  • Skilled in providing 2nd Line desktop support in a Windows 10 environment

  • Ability to configure and support business-use mobile devices

  • Troubleshooting across PCs, laptops, printers, LAN and videoconferencing systems
