A leading facilities management company is seeking a Refrigeration Fabric Engineer for their operations in the North London and Hertfordshire areas. This role involves repair and maintenance of refrigeration equipment in client stores, working independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience with cold rooms and basic electrical repairs. We are looking for a Refrigeration Fabric Engineer based in or around North London or Hertfordshire areas who can travel to work across these locations. Our Refrigeration Fabric Engineers work 45 hours per week, but 2 of those hours are "banked" towards the one Saturday & Sunday you are on call each 7 weeks. You’ll be on call 1 week in 7 and there’s overtime available.
You’ll carry out fabrication repairs of refrigeration equipment in all clients’ stores to an agreed service level. This will include cold rooms, shop floor cabinets and integral doors/furniture/fittings etc. You will adhere to all Arcus and client H&S procedures, complete jobs within pre‑set time frames, and manage high‑pressure situations such as critical summer cabinet alarms while maintaining SLA timescales. You’ll work largely independently, but also integrate well with a small team of Fabric Engineers.
