A local council is seeking a Refreshment Assistant in Crewe. The role involves providing refreshments and cleaning services in the building. Applicants should have previous cleaning experience and be capable of working both independently and as part of a team. An exciting opportunity has become available to work within the building cleaning team as a Refreshment Assistant at Delamere House in Crewe. The position is for 32 hours per week over a Monday to Friday working pattern. Working between the hours of 8am and 4pm. The role involves providing a refreshment provision to meetings in the building, loading and unloading the dishwasher, filling trolleys. The position also involves the cleaning of kitchens, meeting rooms, emptying bins and any other areas that may be required through the day.
The role will include undertaking cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying of litter bins, polishing and dusting of the designated areas (which may include toilets and shower areas) and fixtures and fittings, using, where appropriate, powered equipment. It will involve following a daily/weekly cleaning schedule.
