Overview

Job role: Recycling Maintenance Engineer

£65,000 Basic + Benefits + Overtime

Monday - Friday - Day Shift - 7AM - 4PM

We have partnered with a leading recycling manufacturing company, specialising in recycling, quarry, aggregate machinery, who due to continued success are looking to recruit a Recycling Maintenance Engineer.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring recycling, quarry and aggregate plant equipment is functioning in the correct manner.
  • Maintaining balers, compactors, shredding machinery.
  • Maintaining all equipment on site, such as, conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, PLC controlled equipment, sortation equipment, and balers.
  • Maintaining all mechanical and electrical process equipment.
  • Fault finding and diagnostics.
  • Following a PPM schedule and recording follow up work.
  • Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.
  • Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.
  • Assisting production with machinery problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriate.
