In-House Recruitment Consultant / Talent Partner

Trade Mastermind is the UK's leading business growth consultancy for the trade and construction sectors. We work with ambitious business owners across the UK, helping them scale through proven systems, marketing, sales, and performance strategies.

As our group continues to grow, we are now looking for an experienced In-House Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Peterborough. This is a key internal role focused on hiring talent for our own businesses, including Trade Mastermind and its specialist divisions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recruiter who wants stability, influence, and ownership — without the pressure of agency sales targets — while still being rewarded for performance and impact.

The Opportunity

You’ll act as the internal recruitment expert for the business, partnering closely with senior leaders to attract, hire, and retain top talent across multiple departments including sales, marketing, operations, finance, and leadership.

You’ll have real autonomy, clear hiring plans, and the chance to build scalable recruitment processes that directly support company growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an In-House Recruitment Consultant, you’ll manage the full recruitment lifecycle across the business.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment for Trade Mastermind and its group companies
  • Partnering with department heads to understand hiring needs and role requirements
  • Writing and posting compelling job adverts across multiple platforms
  • Proactively sourcing, headhunting, and engaging high-quality candidates
  • Managing interviews, feedback, and offer processes
  • Ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience at every stage
  • Owning compliance, right-to-work checks, and onboarding documentation
  • Maintaining accurate recruitment data within internal systems
  • Supporting workforce planning and future hiring strategies
  • Reporting on hiring progress, pipeline activity, and time-to-hire metrics
  • Continuously improving recruitment processes and employer branding
What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a confident, organised recruiter who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and building teams that perform with min. 3 years recruitment experience.

What You’ll Get in Return

We offer a competitive package with strong benefits and long-term career stability.

  • Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
  • Bonus: Performance-related bonus
  • Working Environment: Modern, high-spec office
  • Career Development: Tailored training and funded development opportunities
  • Company Equipment: Everything you need from day one
  • Company Culture: Supportive, ambitious, and collaborative team
  • Health & Wellbeing Programme: Mental and physical wellbeing support
  • On-Site Gym: Free access
  • Subsidised Canteen: Fresh, affordable food options
  • Company Events: Regular socials and team-building activities
  • Free On-Site Parking
