Overview

Recruiter seeking a career change? Would you like to focus on the candidate side and make a real difference? This is a real career move joining one of the UK's largest charities, recognised as a great place to work (Investors in People / Best Company awards). The charity is expanding their current programmes across London, so seeking multiple hires. The role is supporting vulnerable clients with mental health, or physical support needs back into work. You will be trained in the IPS Employment Support model and become a careers specialist.


The charity has multiple roles across: Brent, Barnet, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hillingdon & Harrow, Hounslow, Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, Islington, Camden, Haringey. You\'ll be based in one borough.



Responsibilities


  • Support a small caseload of clients (around 25). Co-produce an action plan to help them return to work with ongoing coaching and support, factoring in their support needs.

  • Work in partnership with NHS Trusts and health professionals to deliver combined support.

  • Build a network of local employers to secure work opportunities for customers; use business development skills in a role with no attached fee (government funded programme).

  • Hot desk in community settings meeting job seekers (e.g., cafés, libraries, community centres, or NHS Trusts).



Qualifications


  • Spent at least 12 months in one recruitment role and demonstrated the ability to hit targets.

  • Natural networker with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with external partners.



Details


  • Hours: full time, Mon to Fri 9:00 – 17:00

  • Assessment day: Shepherd\'s Bush, 8 October (one stage: short presentation, interview, scenario exercise). 3 hours total. Morning or afternoon sessions available.
