This year, Supply Heroes moves into its third academic year and we are focussing on 'thriving'. Supply Heroes is recruiting an Education Recruitment Consultant to join the growing team in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham. This role enables you to make a direct impact in the lives of children and young people, and can be rewarding for your personal and financial growth.

Responsibilities
- Uphold the good reputation of Supply Heroes in any case or event.
- Support schools with emergency, daily, temporary and long-term staffing needs.
- Attract, recruit and screen/vet a pool of teachers and support staff from job boards and networking; source, interview and liaise with compliance.
- Interview candidates on Teams, face to face and in schools; build relationships and match to suitable roles.
- Maintain regular daily contact with candidates and work in partnership with other consultants to grow the desk.
- Collaborate with Compliance to ensure candidates are fully cleared for work.
- Write profiles in good written English with correct terminology.
- Develop business by engaging with schools, universities and other partners; perform activities such as calls, meetings and client visits to grow the desk.
- Proactively develop new schools to grow your network and arrange client visits with school leaders.
- Manage supply cover across hourly, daily, weekly and termly needs; communicate via emails, phone and text.
- Work collaboratively within the team to learn and grow your desk; win business and network at events.
- Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and discuss pay and charge rates with candidates and schools, understanding on-cost, margins and commission impact.
- Meet and exceed key business goals as an individual and as part of the team; use CRM Matchmaker effectively.
- Review performance and continuously improve; be adaptable as business needs change.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Operate ethically and with integrity at all times.

- Ability to build relationships with team, candidates and schools.
- Professional, well-spoken and well presented; strong written English and clear communication both in person and on the phone.
- Ability to resolve issues fairly and quickly; accountable at all times.
- Flexible and willing to work out of hours if needed to build relationships and commissions.
- Proactive, hard-working, highly organised with good availability; self-motivated with resilience.
- Ability to multi-task and work in busy times (e.g., mornings 7.30am–9am and afternoons 3pm–4:30pm).
- Team player who can also use own initiative; strong customer service skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to manage and prioritise workloads as business demands change; confident networking with partners including Universities, Colleges and external agencies.
- Growth mindset and willingness to learn; focus on long-term development of knowledge and skills.
- Willingness to learn quickly and remember candidate availability; full driving licence and car for work are essential.
Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract: Full-time
- Hours: 7:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (1-hour break)
- Starting Salary: Dependent on experience
- Commission: Clear structure 15–22% (uncapped and from first £1 billed)
- Car driver with own car for work – essential
