Recruitment Consultant — Education Sector - Newcastle Upon Tyne.

CER Education Recruitment (part of Affinity Workforce Solutions) are a leading Education Recruitment provider specialising in temporary staffing for Primary, Secondary and Special Educational Needs schools. We are looking to add a Recruitment Consultant to our high-performing team in Newcastle. The role & benefits as Recruitment Consultant at CER
  • Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)
  • Monday to Friday 07:30 - 17:00 (Term Time)
  • Monday to Friday 08:00 - 14:00 (School Holidays)
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • Your birthday off! (In addition to your annual leave entitlement).

Role responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for education-based roles.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Proactively engage in business development activities to establish new partnerships with schools and educational institutions.
  • Identify and attract high-quality candidates for education positions through various sourcing methods.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships through both face-to-face and remote interactions.
  • Demonstrate a high level of motivation and take ownership of your desk, treating it as your own mini business.
  • Showcase your drive to succeed and build a thriving career within the education recruitment sector.
Essential Skills, Experience & Attributes Required
  • Previous experience in either a Recruitment OR Sales based role.
  • Ability to work to and achieve targets - we are looking for someone who is goal and results orientated.
  • The desire to want to develop (or begin) their Recruitment career, and carve-out a long-lasting and successful career for themselves.
  • Customer service skills and experience.
  • Excellent comminication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Excellent personal presentation.
  • Full UK Driving License.
