Job description

Recruiting tomorrow's Army today. Be the best to support the best!

You will guide and nurture candidates in the transition from the officer pipeline to initial soldier entry training. This transition can occur at various stages of the process, such as, following the initial interview with a Lead Recruiter, after attendance at Briefing, or following a Main Board attempt. This is a Fixed Term Contract until March 2027. Working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. A hybrid role between home and our offices in Westbury, Wiltshire.

What you'll be doing:
  • Advising and mentoring candidates wishing to transfer from an officer career stream to soldier entry
  • Providing advice on career opportunities within the military
  • Mentoring and promoting continuation of service within the Army Reserves.
  • Maintaining the database (DRS)
Essential qualifications/skills/experience
  • Clear communication skills both verbal and written
  • Professional approach to deliver advice
  • Confidence to mentor candidates through the transition to soldier application
  • Ability to work in a small team
  • Ability to prioritise and strong attention to detail
Desirable qualifications/skills/experience
  • Familiarity with the Army Career streams and trades
