The Reconciliation and Proofing Senior Manager leads a cross-cluster team responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions across cards and payments products. The role requires strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of financial markets, and the ability to develop and manage a high-performance team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily reconciliation process, ensuring all transactions are accurately matched.
  • Identify root causes and process gaps for aging exceptions.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial reporting and timely escalation of exceptions.
  • Support migration of reconciliation to automated tools and AI.
  • Support business initiatives, new product launches, and other projects.
  • Track KPIs and SLAs, continuously seeking process and technology improvements.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to assess quality and resolve complex queries.
  • Manage compliance, control, and audit functions including account reconciliation and cash break management.
  • Promote a strong risk management culture.
  • Manage and mentor a team of recon & proofing professionals, coaching and guiding them.
  • Oversee workflow coordination and strategize to optimize team performance.
Qualifications
  • 10–12 years of experience in financial operations, preferably in reconciliation or card operations.
  • Deep understanding of financial markets and instruments.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a team of professionals.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and other widely spoken Latin American languages preferred.

Job Family Group: Operations – Transaction Services

Primary Location: 5800 South Corporate Place

Salary Range: $97,000 – $146,000
